TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR ROOM HIRE

1. Booking and Payment

• All bookings must be confirmed in writing and are subject to availability.

• Full payment (or a deposit, if agreed) is required to secure the booking.

• Remaining balances must be paid no later than 7 days after booking has been agreed.

• We reserve the right to cancel any booking if payment is not received on time.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the booking date will receive a full refund minus £5 admin fee.

• Cancellations made between 14 and 30 days before the booking will incur a 50% charge.

• Cancellations made less than 14 days before the booking will not be refunded.

• In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, you will receive a full refund.

3. Access and Use of the Space

• Access to the rooms is via stairs only. Unfortunately, there is no step-free access.

• Bookings must include sufficient time for set-up and tidy-up.

• Hirers must vacate the space promptly at the end of the booked period.

• Rooms must be left clean and tidy, with all furniture returned to its original position.

• A sink is available for tidying crafts, but the washing of large items is not permitted.

4. Restrictions

• As the rooms are located underground, workshops involving toxic, hazardous, or strong-smelling materials are not permitted.

• Open flames, candles, or any heat-producing equipment are strictly prohibited.

• The playing of loud music or activities likely to cause disturbance to neighbouring businesses is not allowed.

• The hirer must not exceed the maximum capacity for each room.

5. Equipment and Facilities

• Tables and chairs are provided; additional furniture may be available upon request.

• Wi-Fi is available but limited due to the underground location.

• The hirer is responsible for any equipment brought into the space. We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal or hired items.

6. Health and Safety

• The hirer is responsible for the safety and conduct of all attendees.

• Fire exits and access routes must be kept clear at all times.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

7. Liability and Damage

• The hirer will be held responsible for any damage to the property, fixtures, or furnishings during the hire period.

• Any damage or breakages must be reported immediately.

• We are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during use of the premises, except where caused by our own negligence.

8. General

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere inside the premises.

• The hirer must comply with all applicable laws, including health and safety and licensing regulations.

• We reserve the right to refuse hire or terminate an event if these terms are breached.
