Canada Water Summer Market 15th & 16th August - waiting list only!

SoLo Craft Fair is delighted to be collaborating with Project Farm this Summer at Canada Water Dock. On the 15th & 16th of August, we will be turning Canada Water Dock into a huge market with at least 70 traders showcasing their wares across the weekend.

Before applying, please read the information below carefully:

• There will be no electrical points, so please make sure you bring a portable charger to keep your card reader powered, and use battery-operated lights if this is important to your setup.

• As always, traders need PLI to trade - our venue will be asking for all traders to submit this paperwork prior to trading

• The events will run from 11 am to 5 pm, and you will be able to set up from 10 am. We advise taking public transport, as the tube and overground station opens directly onto the dock.

• Sellers of cold foods (such as cakes and snacks) are welcome to apply, but you must have the relevant documents to sell this, w will require proof of this before the event

• Sellers of alcohol to be consumed at home (bottled items, not for immediate consumption) are welcome to apply if you have the relevant documentation. You will need to have a perosnal license and a ‘Challenge 25’ sign on your stall.

Terms and conditions of trading:

• All products must be handmade or ethically sourced - no reselling from Temu, SHEIN, Ali Express, etc.

• No reselling of tables

• It is important that you are ready to set up for the market start time and stay until the end of the market. If something has come up and you need to leave early, please find a member of our team so we can assist you to do.

• Please see below for the list of documentation that will be required.

The market will run on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August, 11 am - 5 pm. If you book yourself for the full weekend, please note you will have to take down your stall overnight, as these do not close.

Stalls are £55 for a full table.

The stall sizes are as follows:

Full table: 6ft x 2ft.

Please note, the table size may change but the minimum dimensions will be a standard trestle table. The exact dimensions will be stated in the acceptance emails.

Stalls will be under a 3m x 3m structure, the current plan is for something similar to the drawing on this page, but please note this may change. Please note that you may need a weighted display should it be windy on the day of trading.

There may be an opportunity to bring your own gazebo and table for £20, if this is something you’d be interested in doing, please note this on your application so we can see if there is a demand for this.

Required documentation:

Standard traders 

• PLI to cover market trading

• A risk assessment

Traders selling cakes / packaged goods:

• PLI as above  

• A risk assessment 

• Allergen sheet 

• Food Safety/hygiene certificates awarded to the business or employee

• Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP)

• Confirmation on how the food will be on the stall e.g open covered etc  

• Your latest Food Hygiene Rating Score and proof of rating.
