We are excited to be launch our monthly Knit & Stitch Group at Elephant Stores!

If you fancy making some new friends over a coffee and a shared love of stitching, then come along and join us every second Tuesday of the month from 12-2pm.

All forms of stitching are welcome – we’ll be joined by the lovely Alice Garnier who will be offering guidance to beginner knitters of the group, and Katie Wells will be sharing embroidery advice and tips.

We are also teaming up with the charity Knit For Peace, so if anyone wants to donate their knitting to a good cause we’ll organise delivery.

Where: You’ll find us at the @littlelouie café, joined to the SoLo Craft Fair shop. The café provides a range of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Elephant Stores, 14 Ash Avenue, Elephant & Castle, SE17 1GQ.

When: The first event is March 14th at 12-2pm, and the group will meet at the same time on every second Tuesday of the month

Who: All humans of all stitching abilities! Please note that this event isn’t a workshop but a casual stitching group – there will be no class structure and you’re free to drop in as you please.

What to bring: Knitting, crochet, embroidery, punch needle – all forms of stitching and sewing are welcome! You can bring your own project to work on or we have some basic supplies available to buy from SoLo Craft Fair.

How to book: Please RSVP here so we know how many people to expect. This is a free event but we do ask everyone to purchase a drink from the café as they are kindly allowing us use their space.

Accessibility: Step free access. Accessible and gender neutral toilets. The event is hosted in a café which can get busy and loud at times. Please let us know if you have any accessibility related requirements and we’ll always do our best to help.
